About Us

Background

Makers of Dance Energy was established in 1999 to overcome the formalities that can be associated with traditional dance schools. 22 excited but slightly nervous students started strutting their funky stuff through dance. Years later, Makers of Dance Energy continues to grow, develop and break barriers in the teaching of dance.

With the sayings “we don’t do leotards” and “use the other left foot” becoming normal in the lively classes. No exams and the focus firmly placed on fun, the school's stature for professionalism and quality means that our reputation precedes us.

Staff

The Makers of Dance Energy teachers have many years of experience in dealing with students of all ages. Throughout the selection and training process teachers must be fully qualified and undertake enhanced CRB checks. At each school a member of staff is first aid trained and Makers of Dance Energy hold regular training to ensure our high standard of teaching is maintained.
